The Registry Collection Signs Three New Fractional Residences in France

The Registry Collection programme, the world’s largest luxury exchange program and one of the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands (NYSE: WYN), today announced a new affiliation with Avenio Prieuré, adding three new French properties to its portfolio of more than 100 luxury accommodations.

Avenio Prieuré, a luxury resort company, is affiliating three exclusive properties in Provence with The Registry Collection program. The properties are to be developed in conjunction with the Les Maisons de Baumanière hotel portfolio – which holds the French equivalent of a five-star rating – and will be managed by one of France’s leading chefs, Jean-André Charial, also known for his world-famous restaurant, Oustau de Baumanière, located in Baux de Provence.

Nick Turner, Vice President of business development, The Registry Collection, said: “The Avignon property will fuse the peace of its 13th century surrounds with a contemporary interior design to create a truly unique property. This will be the first five-star category fractional property development in France and, driven by Mr Charial’s vision and passion, these will be exquisite properties offering extraordinary experiences. We are thrilled to welcome these unique properties to The Registry Collection program and are looking forward to offering our more than 33,000 members the opportunity to experience the luxury of Les Maisons de Baumanière fractional resorts.”

Marc Koerts, co-partner of Avenio Prieuré said: “The Registry Collection program offers a much-valued accommodation exchange option for our fractional owners who want that flexibility. The service levels and the exclusivity of The Registry Collection are exactly what our owners are looking for.”

The properties will be built on exceptionally spacious sites with superb views of either the Luberon Valley or one of the many surrounding historic villages. Le Prieuré, the first property which is set to complete in 2010, will be located less than four kilometres from the sophisticated and historic walled-town of Avignon, a true year-round destination known for its theatre, arts and excellent choices of culinary experiences – all just two and a half hours outside Paris by train. Show apartments are currently scheduled to open in April and meanwhile potential purchasers can sample the Baumanière luxury experience at the on-site hotel. The second property will be nestled in the hillside area of Gordes which is noted for its exceptional charm and architecture and said to be one of the most beautiful villages in France, as well as home to many artists and film stars. The location of a third resort property in Provence will be announced shortly. Once complete, the properties will all be run under the Les Maisons de Baumanière brand.

The fractional properties will each comprise 24 residential two- and three-bedroom apartments. Owners will have access to the hotel facilities, spas and Michelin-starred restaurants. At the first two properties the fractional product will be based on an average of eight owners per accommodation, owning periods of six weeks, with use blocked off in January for maintenance.
